Video card ram heatsinks?

edited October 2003 in Hardware
At only about $4 for a set of 4 aluminum ram heatsinks i'm thinking why not for my 9800 pro. Shouldn't this help me overclock the ram some more even if only a little? What got me thinking about is was that the 9800 xt seems an awful lot like a 9800 pro with better cooling allowing slightly higher clock speeds.

The 9800XT is just an overclocked 9800 Pro with 256 MB of memory. :)

RAMsinks generally don't do anything for overclocking, but you are welcome to try with them. Usually you may get an extra 5 MHz or something out of your RAM with them, but they really can't hurt your card. :)
