I just installed the sempron and the hsf and though the latches on the sides hooked on, i cant pull down the lever. Will it matter if i dont have the lever down?
Sorry for the delay.. I'm surprised that the lever could not be pulled all the way down. I'm guessing that it is not sitting correctly. Double check that it is oriented correctly (see the sempron owners manual for mounting instructions). Is this a retail AMD heatsink btw? or an OEM replacement sink?
