Computex Taipei 2003 Update Pt. 4

edited October 2003 in Science & Tech
The guys @ HardwareZone were lucky enough to go to Computex this in Taipei this year. They got some interesting information of the latest developments from the likes of: Gigabyte, ALi, SiS, AOpen, Gainward, Cooler Master, Kingmax, IWILL and XGI.

"At Computex this year, there were just a couple of new motherboards over at Gigabyte's booth ranging from solutions for the Intel Pentium 4 to AMD's latest Athlon 64 processors. First off, there's the new GA-8S655FX Ultra which is based on the latest SiS655FX chipset. The board comes with a lot of storage options (as usual), ranging from parallel ATA RAID (based on the ITE GigaRAID) and SATA RAID (from the SIS964 south bridge). It's a dual channel DDR400 board that should offer pretty good performance for its price. In addition, the board is also equipped with Gigabit LAN and Dual BIOS."
