cd burner died
I came home from school today and I was going to burn a cd, but my drive wouldnt read that it was there. I changed it for the auto play thing and still it wouldnt read. So i tried a different actual cd (queens of the stone age to be specific), and it didnt see anything. I went to my computer and browsed the drive and it said that nothing was in there. I tried about 10 different cd's and dvd's, and none of them worked. I put my drive into my parents computer and it still wouldnt work. I changed the cables, and just about everything else I could do, and I'm almost positive its dead. :banghead:
Anyway now I have to buy a new drive because I cant load anything onto my computer because it was my only cd/dvd drive. I was thinking about getting this sony dvd burner, what do you guys think. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16827131016
