Will any 939 board work with an Opty?

I'm putting together a system for my GF and want to take her to dual core since she is a 3D Animation student and does alot with Maya, 3D studio max, ect. She's also an avid gamer.

I didn't want to break the bank on this system, but I am giving her my 2 7800GTX's so I can upgrade myself to 2 7900GT's. I am looking at this MOBO:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813157087

I like ASrock personally. 3 years in over 100 comps with no failures is enough reason I need to get it.

I just need to know if an opty will work with this (newegg is always vague in not putting that is as part of the search.)mobo.

Thanks.

    Personally I would go with;

    ASUS A8N-E Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4 Ultra

    Then sell one of your 7800's as I don't think she would really make use of it. Or wqould she? :scratch:

    Trust me, she'll use it.

    I'll just get the mobo and cross my fingers, if it don't work I can always return it for something else.

    Any Mobo with an up to date (2006) BIOS should be just fine with a DC Opteron.
