So I had a guest at a hotel call in becuase she couldn't see any AP's in the area. She said she didn't bring her Airport with her. I know these Airport devices are for Wireless access, so am I correct to assume she has no wireless?

I ask because I am pretty sure if you don't have your Airport device with you... you arn't gonna find any AP's and thus not be able to connect wirelessly.

Or do mac's also have other wireless things?

The Airports are WiFi Routers. The laptops/desktops still need WiFi cards, which the iBooks have.
