Use the attached program to disable/uncheck programs from starting up in the registry. You can download or go to google and type startup control. http://www.mlin.net/StartupCPL.shtml
Try disabling some things from startup and see if svchost still uses 100% cpu.
I disabled pretty much everything I could (well, not the drivers for my grafics-card, I kinda need them).
I think I'm going to try and re-install the drivers for my wireless software (it's that program that seems to lagg, eventhough the problem already started before I switched from lan to wireless)

First, enable everything on startup. Then, one by one start disabling a program and reboot. See if there are any changes.
