Dell XPS and Core Duo?

Hey I'm just wondering if anyone knows if/when dell plans on implementing the new core duo processors in the xps m170 notebooks? Theyre still using the regular pentium m's, which arent bad, but if I'm paying $2000+ I'd rather have a better processor. I'm going to get a laptop probably in july or early august, so I hope theyre in use by then.

Dell accidentally posted a listing of PCs that would be available with the Core Duo CPU in early February. It was spidered by Google, and while Dell pulled the page within an hour or two, Google had it up for days. There's no information as to when these laptops are coming out, but one can imagine within the next 60 days.. Here are some specs:

The inspiron 6400, E1705, and E1505 all have the core duo's and are already out. My friend just ordered one (E1705), so after I use it I'll let you guys know how it is.

I just want to know if the XPS notebooks are going to use the core duo's. right now they have the pentium m's, but the core duo's are supposed to be alot nicer. I still have a couple of months til i have to buy one, so I'm not too worried.

It was supposed to be released right around... Now! But nVidia is mum on its delayed release date. I say give it ~2 weeks, and then the XPS models about 4-6 weeks later.

looks like my wish might be coming true sometime soon. The xps dropped $300 and theyre including all kinds of free upgrades. My guess is that theyre trying to get rid of all the existing pentium m's they have before they start putting out the core duo's. They did the exact same thing with the inspiron 9300, which was replaced by the E1705 and E1505(i think). Either way it dropped in price a couple hundred bucks and they were handing out all kinds of free upgrades and warrenty discounts.

Actually it does, the MT2600 is the Core Duo 2.16 GHz.
