ibm00001 please HELP ME!!
ok, heres the deal
im searching on the net and BAM, hit with a trojen
i didn't really notice it at first, but then my firewall went down and i couldn't find out why it was down, (im not sure if there is a connection between ibm00001 and my firewall) so i search around and then i use msconfig and it tells me i have ibm00001 and i was like SH%T!! ive had that before it = suxz0r
so yeah, i killed the 3 files in
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Folders
i just can't remember if i killed something from the registry last time or i did something else, all i remember is that last time i found someone else's problem on a forum and did what that guy told the guy who had the problem to do... if that makes sense
anywho, if anyone knows of how to get rid of my problem please help me, oh and i DO know the best way of making sure a trojen is gone is to format ur HDD =) yeah thats an obvious one!

as you can read in most of the stickies in this forum;
It's highly advised to download HJT (hijackthis) and use it to scan you computer.
HJT is a program that shows ALL programs running on your computing (background or not) and other files such as which are run when opening Internet Explorerer etc.
This program is also capable of fixing and taking out these files (ie. they dont run on startup anymore)
So download the program, scan your computer and post a HJT log here. People will be able to " decipher" what files should be fixed and they'll give you a "Delete trojans for dummies" step by step guide which explain themselves (<-- personal experience
