Games to look forward to
Okay, just thought we could have a thread detailing upcoming games to look out for, so to get started here's my first pick: Spore.
An RTS game where you start as a single celled lifeform, evolve your race as you see fit and eventually head out into space to take on the evolutionary products of other gamers imaginations. This game also features some pretty snazzy technology, as your race evolves you can add legs, arms, fins etc...and the animations for your creature are programmatically generated. IE: if you make your race a biped with a low centre of gravity the game works out how such a creature will walk and generates animations accordingly. Also, the game is the product of 'Sim' game genius Will Wright, so it has impressive pedigree.

Only WoW players will understand.
Freekin' sweet!
I also forgot to mention: SIN Episodes are also set to start right around the same time.
The new Tomb Raider will be released next month as well (April 11th). There's going to be a playable demo available "exclusivly" on FilePlanet in a few hours.
Or if you don't want to sign up for the 'exclusive' fileplanet demo, you can get it here- http://www.tombraiderlegenddemo.com/
I had a lot of fun with the first Tomb Raider.
The main thing that let Angel of Darkness down, and got the most complaints, was the movement control.
The game looks stunning but my first impression of the control system is that it hasn't improved much. Lara has more moves but trying to turn a few degrees spins her 90 degrees, much like AoD. You can look round and steer her via the mouse though so it may just be a matter of getting used to a new, differant, method of control. Only a first impression but yeah, it has potential. The physics are much better than in previous TRs and the few puzzles in the rather short demo are very nice.
