Can't install Video Logic Sonic Fury sound card

Well, I seem to have blown one channel in my onboard sound, so I'm trying to install this Sonic Fury sound card. No matter what I do, all I get is a high pitched buzz.

So far I have tried:

Every available PCI slot.
Removed all other PCI cards.
Disabled onboard sound in BIOS.

Tried the card in another computer, worked perfectly.

Installed an old Sound Blaster card in this computer, worked OK.

Tried clearing out all drivers in Safe Mode.

Tried installing in safe mode.

All to no avail.

Any ideas what next?

    OK, fixed it. :vimp::vimp:

    After a lot of trawling around, I found that Video Logic is the same as Turtle Beach Santa Cruz.
    Had a look on their FAQ and downloaded the latest driver.
    It was the same as I've already tried :bawling:

    However, I tried several more times of deleting and reloading and suddenly it worked.:scratch:

    Now just got to reinstall the PCI cards that I took out. Wish me luck!
