backup software

I'm looking for some software that will run scheduled backups of any specific file from one hard drive to another. Window's backup utility saves the files in a backup container. I don't like this. I would rather have access to the unpackaged files.

If anyone knows of something like this that doesn't cost very much, then I would greatly appreciate it.

Dantz Retrospect Express did this a few years ago. I haven't kept up with Retrospect, but as far as I know, it's still great for this kind of thing.

Microsoft SyncToy can schedule regular "backups" & copies.. and it's free
