Keyboard causes BSOD...

I just installed Windows 2000, I get to the point where it asks if it wants me to log in each time or to "log in as" and has me select one of two profiles... I start typing in my password for the log in as and it instantly BSOD's. I've tried two different keyboards, both do this. One keyboard is USB and the other is PS2.

I never had this problem before... though I don't think I've installed Windows 2000 on this computer before actually.

Hrm.. I shoud also now mention this was a dual boot with Windows XP and now Windows XP gives me a boot error showing like it was trying to boot Windows 2000 and could not find a file under WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEMd

OK I can fix the boot issue, it's the keyboard thing I am most worried about...

XP doesn't boot up, Windows 2000 took over some how. I managed to get in Safe mode for Windows 2000 right now. Gonna just backup what I can and reinstall... I guess I should do 2000 first then XP?

Reinstalled... did not work. Then I realized I was using the ORGINAL windows 2000 disk, a copy actually. It was not slipstreamed, unable to find the slipstream and knowing I could bootup in safemode, I installed the SP4 in safemode, though it failed to install..... I decided to bootup normally anyways and VIOLA it works. I am now updating the system. I just hope this wasn't a waist of m time... I have only one reason installing 2000 as I have XP and that is for a specific game. It used to work on 2000 though, but not guaranteed cuase it's a 98 kinda game :P
