So I've made a commercial for the engr dept here at Purdue, and it will be streamed off of their website. I'm wondering what is the best method of encoding the video to stream your average broadband connection. Any suggestions on codecs (that an average computer user would have) and data rates would be helpful. I can export it out from either AE or Premiere if that helps. TIA.

Buffered WMV9 or Quicktime; 300kbps (total stream) for narrowband, 600kbps (same) for broadband .

Sorenson is one I like because everyone should be able to play it... There is also Sorenson 3, but that's not as widespread.
