pop-up virus driving me crrrraaazy!!!
hello people, im jimmy, and im new to this forum as of about 5 minutes ago, yey! 
ok so i reckon i have a pop-up virus, i get random pop ups (and sometimes pop-unders) appearing on my screen when im in the middle of something, whether its msn, typing work or just surfing the net so to speak (what a coincidence, i got two just then lol).
im not really very good with computers so i come here in search of enlightenment and guidence. i have tried following instructions and downloading programs from other sites but nothing has really worked yet.
i recently had the 'spyware quake' virus but i managed to remove that and just when i thought i'd saved my laptop i started getting all these damn pop-up problems.
so here i am asking for your help. can anyone please help me?
ps. i dont know how to put a 'hijackthis log" on here, i suppose thats what is needed to determine what virus it is but i dont know hot to do it lol so could someone let me know?
