America's Delicate Moral Fiber Delays Tomb Raider

The Inquirer says it best (As usual).
We all know that next to Saudi Arabia, America has a terrible fear of breasts, despite the fact that half of the population have got them and the other half would like a pair to play with. But to avoid a repeat of the Nipplegate crisis that gripped America, the game’s release has been delayed.

Moral Fiber?! This is just stupid... not that I'd even buy the game, but still to delay for such idiocy is insane.

That quote is classic: "despite the fact that half of the population have got them and the other half would like a pair to play with" ;D

The reason its been delayed is they dont want another hot coffee on their hands. Its nothing to do with morality, its running the risk of having your game withdrawn and recertificated that has caused this delay.

Rockstar can quite happily ride the wave of angry mothers and policitians but eidos are in enough financial trouble as it is.

The hot coffee incident has everything to do with morality.

If your an angry mother or politician don't read my post.

I hope angry mothers don't find out about the mod that adds a mesh (that bethesda included) to the woman so you can see their boobies when not wearing a shirt, with nips and tan lines to boot!

If you find (badly) computer generated soft-core porn immoral then you have issues.

It had more to do with getting sued. Eidos can't afford for this game to fail, if it does they go out of business.

Why do you think they were worried about getting sued? There are people who consider (badly) computer generated soft-core porn to be immoral, and these are the people who would be suing. (I'll bet that Thrax is not among them).

I think we should sue the people suing the studio for being ignorant blockheads:whatever: that need to quite tirading down the streets. Last time I checked, there was nothing illegal with boobies in a video game, after all, if they are looking at them, they must have the game which means that they must have bought the game. Now if some covert spy snuck in their house and put the game in their ps2 played all the way to that scene, put it on pause, and snuck out..then they might have a case..maybe.
