Video Cuts Out

I am currently working on a crappy E machine that the video just cuts off and everything continues to run. Sometimes the computer boots windows properly but once I restart the computer the monitor goes black and everything continues to run. Sometimes the monitor just goes black while windows is just sitting there. The activity light on the front does not go out and the computer just sits there and does nothing. I have tried new monitors and a new video card and the same thing happens.

    Could you give us some more details about the computer? Since replacing the Video card and monitor didn't help, my first guess would be the PSU.
