W32/Alemod.f.dll virus + SpySheriff
Please note: I cannot connect to the internet. I am communicating with my other computer.
I did a virus scan and received the following: The file C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\wininet.dll is infected by the W32/Alemod.f.dll virus and cannot be cleaned.
When I go on the computer desktop my wallpaper is replaced by an all blue screen but with icons still showing with the following message: Warning! Spyware threat detected! System error #1752. Your computer has several fatal errors due to spyware activity. Your IP address is 127.0.0.1 and via this address an unathorized access was gained by another computer. It is strictly recommended to install an anti-virus software(I have McAfee) to close all security breaches.
Then the screen has the following comments: To protect your computer from spyware attacks - click here and To erase the tracks of your internet activity - click here.I have not clicked on any of them.
I also noticed that there is a desktop icon of something called SpySheriff that appears to have installed itself onto my computer. I tried removing the program, but it won't remove.
Please note that I have read a lot about something called HijackThis and to post the outcome here. But I cannot connect to the internet in order to download HijackThis.

Install it, and update the definitions to the newest files. Do NOT run a scan yet.

Please download SmitfraudFix by S!Ri
Extract the content (a folder named SmitfraudFix) to your Desktop.
Note : process.exe is detected by some antivirus programs (AntiVir, Dr.Web, Kaspersky) as a "RiskTool"; it is not a virus, but a program used to stop system processes. Antivirus programs cannot distinguish between "good" and "malicious" use of such programs, therefore they may alert the user.

Next, please reboot your computer in Safe Mode by doing the following:
1) Restart your computer
2) After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, press F8.
3) Instead of Windows loading as normal, a menu should appear
4) Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode
5) Choose your usual account.

Once in Safe Mode, open the SmitfraudFix folder again and double-click smitfraudfix.cmd
Select option #2 - Clean by typing 2 and press "Enter" to delete infected files.
You will be prompted : "Registry cleaning - Do you want to clean the registry ?"; answer "Yes" by typing Y and press "Enter" in order to remove the Desktop background and clean registry keys associated with the infection.
The tool will now check if wininet.dll is infected. You may be prompted to replace the infected file (if found); answer "Yes" by typing Y and press "Enter".
Do NOT reboot yet.

Now, reboot back into Normal mode, open the Ewido Log and copy & paste it's content to this thread along with the contents of C:\rapport.txt log (SmitFraudFix) aswell as a fresh HijackThis log, please.
