What do you mean by this?

Did you disable ALL FOUR programs and then remove the entries with HJT and then reboot?

Excellent, your HJT log is clean. I also see Zone Alarm installed.

    You can enable TeaTimer again.

How is the compyter running? :)

turned on tea timer then turned it back off entries came back spysweeper said teatimer was installing a bho. turned off the 4 programs and checked hjt log deleted entries were back.

computer is still a little slower but seems to be working okay. only other problem i have been having is with mozilla. keep getting messages cannot find server. when check internet connection find it has changed from direct connection to manual proxy connection. When mozilla is set to this, nothing loads until changed back to direct connection. Mozilla started doing this about 3 or 4 days ago after being updated.

The BHO's shouldn't cause any problems.

Thats odd. Have you tried an older version of Firefox to see if it still happens?

have a cd from my server i was going to reinstall. but checked under updates for mozilla and found an sdi integrater that had not installed. installed that and mozilla seems to be working better.

will try teatimer again and let the bho install

    Glad you got Firefox working.

Let me know how Spybot goes. Like I said, the entries are harmless, but since there is "no file", its just extra clutter showing in your log.

still working on messenger got 41% installed then my modem shut off and had to reconnect. think the baud rate is too high but cannot find a way to slow it down was originally at 26400 is now at 28800. trying to install messenger again will let you know. had to reinstall it on my other computer also worked fine 1st time on that one. just having a problem on this one..

computer is working better but is still slow. sometimes too when trying to shut down have to do it 2 or 3 times before it will shut down. have run scans again everything is still clean.
