    Before WinXP, old versions of Windows & (maybe) DOS were somewhat valuable in that they could allow you to buy the Upgrade, as opposed to the more expensive "Full" version of the latest MS OS.

    I've been toying with putting Win 3.11 on an old box just for nostalgia's sake. Other than killing an afternoon reminiscing, I don't know what I'd do with it after that.

    I've got a couple of OEM W95 (still sealed) that I wish I had given away when they were still valuable as upgrade bait... :buck:
