Brightness Too High on Trinitron 17"

I have now fixed the overbrightness on two Dell P991 monitors I own. A friend says he has a 17" Dell with the flat trinitron exhibiting the same problem. Does anyone know which resistor value needs to be adjusted for the 17" models?

    I have just been given a p991.Can you tel me what resistor you replaced and where it is located on the chassis?
