Hello,

ZoneAlarm seem to lag me when I'm playing CounterStrike, once I turn it off the game becomes normal again. Is this a problem with the settings or is it a hardware problem?

not sure what zonealarm is, but if it uses the internet then theres nothing you can really do other than turning it off.

    ZoneAlarm is a firewall.

Have you tried to manually set ZA to allow steam and counter-strike to access the net? I had that problem long ago, but can't remember what else I did, might be some other port you have to give access to.....hmmm I'll have to look.

One of my friends used ZoneAlarm for awile, he was an avid gamer and it gave him nothing but performance issues.

Are you behind a router? Depending on which one and what the settings are you might not even need zonealarm...
