Ars Technica has published a comparative review of the iPod Hi-Fi, Klipsch iFi, and Altec Lansing InMotion iM7
Apple's iPod Hi-Fi dock and speaker system got a lot of attention when it was announced. We tested it along with two of its competitors, the Klipsch iFi and the Altec Lansing InMotion iM7.

With the growing number of stores carrying the personal audio device and a growing crop of users desiring to hear their music in more places, speaker systems have become an increasingly popular accessory. With the announcement of Apple's foray into high-end iPod accessories, we here at the Orbiting HQ decided to take some of the pricier iPod dockable speaker systems for a spin.
