Unlocking X1800GTO

I need a new video card and Im limited to $200 or less. I have it narrowed down to a X850 PE($199) or a X1800GTO($169). Ive been happy with my x800GTO so I dont need a 7900 or 1900.
I think they both beat the 7600 pretty easy and the x1800 has the avivo also. I am hoping that unlocking the x1800 is possible (thats like the cherry on the cake)
Any advice?

Get the X1800 sereies as the older X850 does not support new tech. regarless if you unlock the X1800 or not. it will be the better card.

This site helped me when I unlocked my x850 pro to 16 pipes....

I think the GTO is too new to say if it's reliably unlockable. As Sledgehammer said, it doesn't matter. The x1800GTO is a sweet midrange card (and one on my personal short list).
