Hynix Memory Quality?

Forgive my ignorance but i'm not familiar with the brand as not many ppl here sell it.

Is Hynix quality memory or is it a generic brand?

    Higher end genaric.

    (The best ic's are samsung and winbond :) )

    edit: Btw there the people who make the chips not the people who make the entire ram.

    Hynix has been available here in South Africa for a number of years. I have the ram in some of my rigs. I wouldn't go as far as to say it's quality stuff, but it's very well priced (in SA anyway) and I have never has a single problem in the 3 odd years I've used it.

    The second biggest manufacturer of DDR as far as i know. Can you read all small numbers on the chips?
