Kingston To Launch Low Latency DDR2

Kingston is to launch a bunch of high speed memory in the next two weeks or so.
The company will be releasing DDR2-1066,DDR2-1000 and DDR2-800. The 800 is set at 4/4/4/15
The 1066 comes in a 1G kit, the 1000 will come in 2G kits. As far as I am aware, there is no other low latency memory at that speed available on the market. Since the products won't be launched for a week or two, I can't say if they are higher or lower speed than similar items, but they are higher capacity.

I mean low Latency for DDR2 IMHO would be like 3-3-3-11 or something... this is utter crap.

I thought DDR2 was normally something like 5-4-4-11?

As long as it ends up being considerably faster than the current DDR standard in the end I'll be happy. I don't plan on upgrading to Socket 940 for another year at least anyhow.

My DDRII in my laptop is 44411... but my memory bandwidth; despite being dual channel; is only 2950MBps :(
