Memory Help

Recently i was trying to download a program from my ISP that requires a minimum of 256MB Ram but when i tried it won't download,stating my PC doesn't meet the minimum RAM specified.I've check inside my PC and knows i have 256MB RAM Physically but my PC only recognise 224 RAM Installed.

My PC is a Packard Bell with a Pentium 4 CPU 2.40GHz and only shows 224MB of RAM.Is there anyway i can free up the missing RAM in order to download this Program i want to use?

    It appears that you have intergrated video on the motherboard that utilizes some of your physical memory. There really isn't any way to get enough as your onboard video requires at least a small portion of it. Also the Windows operating system uses a very large chunk of your memory just to run. The only option would be buy and install more memory.
