hard disk identification problem

Hi,
I attached an additional h.d to my p.c
I can see it in the bios and in managment tools and device manager but cant see it in "my computer" so i cant work with it.

    I think you must first mark the disk as active then format the drive.
    Then it should show up.

    Select the disk, then right click on the mouse and "mark partition as active", or Action -> All task -> Mark parttion as active.

    I dont have the option to make it active only to delete it (the option is inactive)

    Okey I see, hum.
    How large is the hard disk and what brand is it ?
    It would be nice if you could give us the information about your motherboard, CPU and operating system.

    I don't know what happends if the motherboard doens't support large disks.
    i.e. above 127 GB.

    But I'll guess we fix it somehow ..:clap:

    its only 15 gigabyte......western digital

    If you have no data on the disk then delete it, and then recreate the disk.

    You can also download HDD test software from the vendors site and see if it's okay first, (or use the Ultimate disk).

    I solved the problem by running segate diskwizard (even that the disk is western digital).
