From now until the end of the year, Skype is offering free calling from your PC's Skype account to US and Canada-based landlines.
Skype is a little program for making free calls within the US and Canada to all phones until the end of the year. Skype to Skype calls anywhere in the world are also free. It's easy to download and use, and works with most computers.

Wow, I've never used Skype before, but it looks like now would be a good time to give it a try!

Too bad most of my friends don't use landlines anymore...

    Calling regular phone numbers.

You can make free calls within the US and Canada to both landlines and mobile phones until the end of the year. It’s really easy; there are no contract fees, no line rentals. All you need is Skype and a phone number you want to call.

    It says mobile phones, too.

Bah, I don't think they consider PR as part of the US :bawling: That or I'm with the others that have an IP that starts with 7 that can't make the free calls.
