Faulty thread?

I've tried several times today to read a thread in the pub, 'Anyone been here since apu's hardware?'
Everytime I click on it the page opens to just the first post then the PC locks up solid. I can't close IE or anything, the only way out is a reset. I have no problem with any other thread. Any ideas.

    Mr Bothered :)

Do me a favour mate, go into your user CP ---> options and turn off signatures. Then try browsing the thread.. I think it was someones sig not loading.. which was hogging the page.

That is the normal cause sir ;)

The only one I can think of causing the problem would be MediaMan, he's the only one with a flash sig. Internet Explorer did freeze up for a few seconds on my end, but it was fine after that.

    It's yours Dan.

I often get a box come up saying "request timed out while contacting danballblah.com" at work and at home.

And when it does load, like now, it took about 2 minutes to appear (and looks a mess like a few things are missing).
