It's as big a problem as old-fashioned bullying of the brick and mortar variety.

At least a Cyber Bully can't give you a Cyber Wedgie and steal your lunch money. :buck:

Cyber bullying is a killer to kids who have no one to help them. How can we as adults kick the bullier's butt right back ? I know a kid who doesn't have parents to go to..I'm an outsider. This isn't funny, but to the post about a cyber wedgie..would love to send one to this mean girl.

Hmm. I dont see it as a big problem, I mean, even if persay a kid is online, and said bully says: im hate you, im gonna kick your but, last time I checked, there was still a big red 'x' on aim to close it. And guess what, that bully is done after you do that. Just man up and either take care of it yourself, or find some adults that will do it for you.

It's a part of life and will happen to pretty much all of us at one point or another. Do we leave our kids to work out how to deal with it or try to shield them from it?

I'd personally go with the former. The longer you try to protect them the more messed up they end up in later life.
