bootable disc problem help.

I don't know what happened to my laptop with it won't start up everytime i get to XP it restarts so i made a bootable disc of windows XP with nero. I can't get the CD to load i tried my desktop and my laptop, but i keep getting

Boot from Atapi CD-ROM: No Emulation

Cannot Load DOS! Any Key To Retry


I have followed every step in these instructions and my laptop has been broke for weeks someone please help me on how to get this CD to load :confused:

    The link you gave indicates that you are trying to slipstream SP2 onto a disc. What disc are you using as the main WinXP source?

    How old is the laptop? The more details you can provide, the better.

    You might try following the instructions found here and see if you have better luck. :)
