Several industry sources concur that the launch of the first Intel processors made with full next-generation marchitecture will be for servers.

With Woodcrests debut on June the 19th, the launch model list has been dug up, with the lower end 5110 - 1.60 GHz clock, 1066 MHz FSB selling for $230 per thousand, and the top of the range 5160 - 3.00 GHz clock, 1333 MHz FSB coming in at $851 per thousand.
As you can see for yourself, pricing is very agressive. All the CPUs come with 4MB of shared L2 cache. The CPU is manufactured on a 65 nanometre process, which helps Intel attack AMD on pricing.

So these are Xeons? Why would they still make a 1.6 GHz part?

Maybe they're trying to recall the magic of the 1.6 Northwood? ;)
