2000 / 2000 / XP Problem
There is a work laptop configured as such...
c: Windows 2000
d: Windows 2000
e: Windows XP Pro
Every time the XP partition gets installed, we get the following error on the C: drive only....
I saw the excellent guide you had for XP, but the problem is that when I try to repair this issue, I don't get the option of seeing the C: drive. For some unknown reason, the repair option only comes up for the D: drive.
Any ideas???
Thanks in advance.....

Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt:
\WINNT\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM
You can attempt to repair this file by starting Windows Setup
using the original Setup CD-ROM.
Select 'R' at the first screen to start repair.
