Greetings all,

I intend to replace my motherboard. I do not have any experience replacing computer parts. That said, should I replace the motherboard myself or should I hire someone to do it for me? Thanks

making sure that you get one that will work with all of your parts is the bigger trick. Are you going to buy an exact replacement for your current one? Why are you replacing it?

Well ...physically installing it isn't difficult at all. The real issue comes in when you decide what to do with the hard drive data as far as I'm concerned.
Easiest way is to reinstall the operating systems along with the drivers and whatever software you use. Just remember to backup all of your important data first.
Otherwise ...it could get tricky but not always.
