Msi, Via Vpsd

I was browsing NewEgg and noticed that upon refreshing the page all the MSI motherboards were re-branded as VIA/VPSD. Is this a glitch, or is MSI now owned by VIA? If so, should I still purchase the mobo I was looking at (never wanted a VIA mobo as I've always felt they produced inferior products)?

    Bump. I've tried a google search, I've been to MSI Computer. I don't see anything that answers my question.

    Since MSI has been my favorite brand for a while now, this is certainly something I will keep an eye on. :wtf:
