More details of Hound Rev. H have been reviewed during the AMD Technology Analyst Day on 1/6. AMD plans to release this 4 cores CPU in the second half in 2007.
Hyper-Transport 3.0 transfer technology is introduced in Rev.H. It strengthened the performance of CrossBar and the speed is doubled, reached 5.2GT/s. The architecture in Rev.H has a great change, e.g. New 32Bit Instruction fetch, improved 128 Bit SSE, Branch Prediction and Out of Order Load, FPU with doubled performance and 128Bit Loads Per Cycle. Rev.H. also supported in Co-processor, which may helps in physical calculation and floating calculation through HTX card.
