No Audio in Nero
I do not know if this should be in software or hardware ?
I am trying to capture off of my Hauppague TV Tuner card. It has an external audio out that is patched to the sound card.
Problem: Nero Vision express in capture mode will not capture audio with the video. Before you hit record the sound is all echos (the microphone is not on )
when you do hit record the audio stops. And obviously does not record sound.
The Tuner came with WinTV2000 it will capture audio just fine. The reason I do not want to use it is that it does not capture in mpeg2 , and Raw AVI is just to big. ( 75gigs for one hour of recording) Iwanted do do some episodic DVD's . If I capture with winTV2000 in avi and then open nero express and convert it to DVD it works fine... just takes forever. Nero will capture in mpeg2. Thought I would be way ahead of the game this way.
There is more...If I open dvd files on my hdd with Windvd they play just fine. Also with RoxioDVDMax player. But if I try to use the nero player guess what ..No sound.

I had tried WINDVR but it kept locking up my system. when it did work it worked fine.
