The TechZone looks at Micro Fuel and Photovoltaic Solar Cells
Source: The TechZoneMicro fuel cells can use such fuels as alcohol or methanol and offers ten times the power of conventional batteries using only 1/20th the weight. Perfectly suited for laptops or notebook computers. It actually burns fuel which can be quickly replenished by merely refilling its reservoir or replacing a fresh fuel cartridge. As everyone knows, recharging a conventional cell battery takes hours, this new battery will only take seconds to recharge or rather refuel.

On another note, I can just see those old Pentium 4 laptops with aftermarket fuel cells spontaneously combusting.

But you know what, on another topic, I was thinking today about how energy/matter/anything is never created or destroyed, only changed in form, that would mean that we already have perpetual energy, just on a very large scale. HAH HAH, I HAVE CONQUERED PERPETUAL ENERGY< GIVE ME MY NOBEL BIATCH
Apparently this is an idiotic statement that further proves my ignorance, so it has been removed.
what the hell are you talking about. Every post of yours make me think you are more of an idiot. Take note to your own advice.
Um, I was talking about the scientific process of fermenting corn grain into ethyl alcohol.
Wow, okay, im gonna take that as a flame. but I'm going to take my time and think of how I want to deal with this. I am far from an idiot. but no, I will not respond to your troll antics, I will count to 10.
I dont appreciate being called an idiot.:sad2:
airborn, animal has significant cred as a web developer and I don't believe he's in high school. Posting a report card does nothing but highlight your youth, and you're strutting your technical competence to someone who has been asked by several members (including Brian, kanezfan, and citrixmeta, I believe) to do work for them - it doesn't look good. animal's comment was clearly out of line and far harsher than necessary, but that wasn't an appropriate response either.
All that aside, it does look like you finished the year on a strong note, so cheers for that.
No more unkind words in this thread please (or elsewhere, for that matter). Contact me via PM if you want to say more. The topic here is laptop batteries.
I went "a little over the top" about a week ago on a uninformed intel fan.
