Ipod Storage (Semi-Urgent)

I'm using my 20 gig ipod for storage right now, no music playing files, just..well..files. I accidentally deleted a handful of pictures that I NEED. I don't have backed up anywhere and I'd love to get them back..only problem is I don't know how.

Is it possible to recover my files? Any and all help much appreciated.

(Urgent because I know after several files write over them, they're harder to get back)

    If that doesn't work, try smart recovery from PC Inspector.

    Erg, I don't know what I'm doing with this...I got to the part when it asks whether I want to 'write to disk' and then I'm not sure whether or not to write. For one thing, I'd rather not write over a bunch of my files that are already there.

    The other program couldn't find my files (called them too corrupt) and offered to do a deep search (or abort, I'm not sure what it called it) and I said okay. 10 minutes later and it still hadn't even gotten past 1%. I cancelled.

    *sigh* I fear that they're lost..

    Can you attach a log of what it found during the scan?

    Set it up and let it run all night, if need be. They're your files, so it's your call. :wave:
