Computer parts and electronics online retailer, Newegg, certainly needs no introduction and has undeniably enjoyed one of the most solid presences among the enthusiast community, offering more than 60,000 product categories, distributed from 10 warehouses within the US.

Their reputation for offering a wide selection of goods, very competitive prices and great service can hardly be argued. General consensus however seems to indicate, that if they have one fault, it is their lack of availability elsewhere. Newegg have historically only done business with US households and more recently, in China.

This may change in the near future as the company is trying to expand into Europe by means of acquisitions or setting up wholly owned companies.

Reportedly Newegg receives over 11 million unique visitors a month on its website. Reports also indicate that daily sales range between $5-7 million and growing.

There was talk of them buying dabs last year but they've just been picked up by BT. I'd prefer they expanded without aquisitions to be honest, the market its quite settled here and if an outside influence buys up somebody big or important it could really mess things up.

Guess I'm just worried they would buy overclockers and put an end to the nicely priced graphics cards and monitors.
