Well, i hear (dont remember from where) that Home edition of XP doesnt work with Dual Processors, I dont know if Dual Cores count, but is this true?

Because im debating on wether or not getting an Athlon 64 X2 and if it will work with home edition or what.. because 162 dollars is a lot to pay for a 5 year old OS, and if i get home edition its only like 60 to 70 bucks.

The SMP HALs are per-socket, not per-core.

CompUSA is selling XPhome (upgrade) for $99.99 this week with a $50 eRebate. People I've talked to say they've received their dough in as little as two weeks.

    Just FYI.
