One under modem and the other under Intel Pro/100 VM Network...
The Pro/100 says network cable unplugged. Is my ethernet card screwy? Right now the modem is enabled. The "find IP address automatically" was already set under the modem's options. It was also checked under the card's settings.
What should I do now.

Network cable unplugged is the problem...is your ethernet cable plugged in (I know that's obvious)? If not, well there's the problem. If it is, you may want to see if another ethernet card would do something for you. If it does, then you know it was the ethernet card. If not, then you may want to find a fix for "Media Sense" because it's somehow screwed up...there was a thread about it here.
