Encryption for MSN Messenger

Hi all,
A few months ago, I realized that I don't like the fact that MSN stores my MSN Messenger messages or how easy it is for someone on the Internet to ease drop on my MSN Messenger conversations.
So, I've been playing around with Secway's SIMPLite (<link>http://www.secway.fr/us/products/simplite_msn/</link>) for MSN Messenger the last few months. To be honest, I like how seamlessly it integrates with MSN. I've search around a bit, but haven't found many other alternatives.
I'm just wondering if anyone knows of any other alternatives for encryption of the MSN Messenger client. I know that I could switch to GAIM or another programs which hooks into the MSN Messenger network, but for some odd reason, I really enjoy the MSN Messenger client. (Well, after adding PLUS! and a few tweaks of apatch.) So, before I start becoming a "SIMP fanboy", has anyone else got any neat information they'd like to share?
Thanks for your comments... this is what makes Short-Media so grand.
