Win XP Pro problems
Hiya all guys,i'm a newby of this site.
i got a amd64 3200+ , motherboard asus a8ne-fm/s ,1 GB S3+ mem ddr400,hitachi deskstar 250gb,and a sapphire ati radeon x1600xt 256mb.
I tried to install windows xp pro SP2 with the sata drivers in the asus cd,and windows never finish the installation,givin me errors on hivesys.inf.
I tried to install from a nlite made windows with the latest nforce4 sata drivers,finish the installation,reboot but never start.In this case the computer keep rebooting without any kind of error's advice.
I tried with another computer AMD64 3500+ with a mb a8n-e,1 gb ddr400,ati x850xt,creative audigy 2,western digital 250 gb sata 1 and maxtor 80 gb sata 1(Window's installed HD),and got the same problem,it was working before,it crashed and never started again.
I don't understand if it is a problem of asus mbs, supposely is the sata controller but i'm not sure about it.
i tried tons of times,i cannot stand this anymore.
