Newegg.com is a great choice for overall cheap prices.
I got mine for $80, with an Antec 400W SmartPower PSU.
Or did you mean "Chieftec Case <$100"?
Abit NF7-S mother board $112
AMD ATHLON XP 3000 "Barton" 400MHz FSB $261
CORSAIR MEMORY XMS3500C2Platinum (Twin Pack) 512MB(2 x 256MB) $152
Western Digital 120GB SATA WD1200JD 7,200 RPM 8MB Hard Drive $120
SAPPHIRE OEM RADEON 9800 PRO 128MB DVI/TV 8X AGP BULK $298 (much better than 9700 Pro)
Linksys BEFSX41 Broadband EtherFast Cable/DSL Firewall Router with 4-Port Switch/VPN $60
Comes to $1,003 and still leaves you $600 for a modem, floppy and case/PSU (Go with at least 400W).
Now if you don't plan to overclock, this is a true killer system and it will also allow you to overclock like a madman if you wanted as it is all very capable of doing so very stabily.
DAmmit! :banghead:
And the worst part was he did say something about simlim square earlier. :banghead:
any singaporeans ard?
Abit NF7-S mother board $112
AMD ATHLON XP 2500 "Barton" 333MHz FSB
CORSAIR MEMORY XMS3200C2 (Twin Pack) 512MB(2 x 256MB)
Western Digital 120GB WD1200JB 7,200 RPM 8MB Hard ATA Hard Drive
SAPPHIRE OEM RADEON 9700 PRO 128MB DVI/TV 8X AGP BULK
Then see if this total leaves enough for a floppy, case, router and modem.
