Okay, I have an assload >5000 songs on my computer and probably 3500 or so are titles as: "song name/(album version)" I have been going through and just deleting the "/(album version)" off of the title just leaving me with "song name". But I am wondering if there is a program that can do this as a batch process. I wouldnt really care, except that it looks like crap on my car stereo, and makes it take forever to scroll. especially when it ends up being all screwed up like this "song name/[(album version) album version (explicit)] - Artist"

Try the Music Brainz client, as well as fingerprinting them and getting the names and such it can re-sort them like this.

bah...it worked for about 3k of them, but that still leaves me with around 2k to do, not to mention I have to clean up after it a little bit.

You can also try using MP3 Rectifier to do batch operations on MP3s and ID3 tags
