GHoosdum's Summer Sale-a-thon Extravaganza!

Hi guys! I'm trying to optimize the PCs in my house for as little $$ as possible, so I'm selling off some stuff to fund the changeover. I have positive heat under GHoosdum, and I've been a member of the forum for a while, so some of the guys around here might know me a little bit...

Keep in mind that I have no idea how much some of this stuff is worth right now. If my prices are ridiculous, shoot me a PM, and I'll fall back to reality. I've provided product links to the manufacturers where possible and useful. The specs may vary slightly between revisions, but I am not being intentionally misleading if the one I'm selling differs from the manufacturer specs.

Antec Aria
Product Link
I've owned this for a while. It used to house my primary system (this is what I had at SM LAN '05). It is in good shape, with a single ding and a few scuffs, but otherwise solid and sound. The 300W PSU is in fine shape as well. I was going to mod it, but I'm getting rid of my microATX stuff, so I'm selling this off as well.
$45 plus shipping

Antec True430W PSU
Antec 430W TruePower PSU, older model with 20-pin motherboard connector.
$35 plus shipping

Antec Sonata Case
Product Link.
This is the first revision Sonata case, without the air duct inside. I have replaced all of the case LEDs (power and HDD) with blue LEDs, so they match the blue LED 'mood lighting' that's part of the case. The case has a few scratches, but still looks very nice. It's missing 3 of the four case feet, but they're the cheap rubber sticky kind, so they'd be easy to replace. They came off while moving the thing, because the adhesive wasn't very good. The PSU that came with it is a 380W TruePower (single fan), but the PSU died on me. Antec never responded to my RMA request, so I still have the broken PSU. I'm selling this as the case only, but I'll include the broken PSU (for free) at the buyer's option, though it will increase your shipping costs.
$35 plus shipping

Radeon 9600XT
Reference ATI card. This card has an Arctic Cooling ATI Silencer on it. It's the cooler model that is designed for the 9600 series specifically, so it fits like a glove, and provides silent cooling. The card operates at about 33C with ATI Overdrive enabled (Core OC'd to 527MHz), but I can manually overclock the card to 600MHz core / 325MHZ memory with no problems, and the card only hits 35C.
$50 + shipping (the cooler is sort of heavy)

I will make combo deals for anyone interested in multiple items.

I do not ship to Nigeria, and I don't do escrow. ;) Any items that include shipping in the price are shipped by the cheapest option. Buyer pays for insurance or faster shipping method.

////PENDING ITEMS////

17" LCD Monitor
Product Link.
This is a "VPR Matrix" model. I bought it at Best Buy three years ago. It was only on the shelf for a few weeks, then they stopped selling them. I'm not sure why, but it's a quality monitor. The screen is the same as the Samsung 17" screen that was on the market at the time. I think this is 25ms response time, and 800:1 contrast ratio.
The bad news: There is a single nick in the monitor's screen. It appears like a dead pixel under certain conditions. It's about the size of a mechanical pencil lead's tip.
$75 plus shipping - pending to TheBurninator

////SOLD ITEMS////

AMD Athlon XP 3200+ Socket A
Barton chip, 2.2GHz, 512K L2, 1.65V default Vcore. Top of the AXP line.
Sold to citrixmeta

Thermalright ALX-800
Copper base/aluminum finned cooler for AXP (Socket-A) systems - requires an 80MM fan. This heatsink clips to the Socket. I have the clips for an 80x25 fan, it is possible that the rest of the stuff is in the box as well.
Sold to citrixmeta

Thermalright AX-7
Copper base/aluminum finned cooler for AXP (Socket-A) systems - requires an 80MM fan. This heatsink clips to the Socket. This model has rubber spacers that separate the fan from the fins by several mm, and screws through at all four corners.
Sold to citrixmeta

2x256MB Corsair Value Select RAM
I think this was the older batch of CL2.5 stuff - their new stuff is CL3.
Sold to JRW21

Asus K8N mobo + HSF
Product Link
Socket 754 board, just back from Asus RMA. The HSF assembly is a Coolermaster (I think) and looks and functions very similarly to a stock A64 (non heatpipe) heatsink. Put in a cheap Sempron, and this thing would make a rocking folding rig or value gaming/HTPC machine.
Sold to fatcat6

Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe Motherboard
nForce-2 chipset on an ATX Socket-A form factor board. Includes SoundStorm Audio. This has been in my wife's PC, and mine before that. It has been 100% reliable for several years. I am including an Asus WiFi-B card that uses a proprietary socket on this motherboard. The WiFi card has no antenna, as the dog chewed off the antenna that it came with.
$50 plus shipping - SOLD to urbanwarrior

AMD Athlon XP 2500+ LOW VOLTAGE Socket A
Barton chip, 1.83GHz, 512K L2, 1.50V default Vcore. The A7N8X-E motherboard reads this chip as a mobile Barton, and treats it as multiplier unlocked. They make a great pair. The chip comes OEM, no heatsink.
$58 shipped - SOLD to Aranyic

Thermalright SLK-900A
Copper base/copper finned cooler for AXP (Socket-A) systems - requires an 80MM or 90MM fan. This heatsink clips to the Socket. I have the clips for an 80x25 fan, it is possible that the rest of the stuff is in the box as well.
$10 + shipping - SOLD to Aranyic

1 GB (2x512MB) Kingston Value RAM (DDR PC3200)
Product Link
CL3, standard "value" PC3200 stuff. Two sticks of 512MB each, sold as a pair.
$70 shipped - SOLD to qparadox

Radeon 9800 Pro
Reference ATI card. This is the most expensive video card I have ever purchased - I originally paid $277 for it. It has worked flawlessly for several years. Now you can have it really cheap!
$50 + shipping - SOLD to steveodeo

Chaintech 7NIL1 Motherboard
Product Link
nForce-2 chipset on a microATX Socket-A form factor board. I've used it reliably for several years. Mine differs from the manufacturer page in the NB heatsink: this one is passively cooled.
$25 plus shipping - SOLD to Tim

80GB HDD
Western Digital, 2MB cache model, WD800BB.
$15 plus shipping - SOLD to Tim

I didn't have the stuff with me at the LAN anyway - I didn't think bringing a whole PC was worth my time with all the socializing. ;)

If I have one, I can include it. I'll have to look in my parts bin and see. I'll let you know.

    Thanks guys! :D

my folding nodes are going to love those heatsinks,

should be able to squeeze out a few 100mhz out of them.

I am a personal fan of the AX-7 in particular. It's so different from most of Thermalright's other designs, but I once got a Tbred-B chip up to 2.4GHz on it (not this particular HS, since this one's new in the box).

Look no further than your very own home on the internet, Short-Media.

Good luck with the OCing on the board. If you have any problems with it, let me know. It is fresh from Asus RMA, and I bent the pins on my CPU before I could test it, so I'll make good on it if it doesn't work for you.
