I video taped my daughter playing piano.
Due to some electrical interferance there is a buzz in the audio track.
This is a very special tape, I need to try to save the audio.
I can capture and convert it into almost any format.
I am looking for software to filter out the noise.
Please help.
Any suggestions are welcomed.

I have Roxio easy media which has a sound editor. I don't know if it would help but if you could upload the audio maybe people could try whatever they have and you could pick the best result?

That is an excellent idea.

I have heard good things about GoldWave (free trial) and FlexiMusic (free download; not sure about full features).

I'd go with bothered's suggestion in any case. :)

Ditto that idea. I've recently been remastering some Hypnosis tapes which seem to have been recorded with a bad quality adictaphone. The improvement wasn't amazing, but it was quite a step.
