Word, envelopes.

Odd little problem here.
I have always used MS Word for envelopes. Recently I got a new printer, a Lexmark. I wanted to print off a few envelopes but they kept causing paper jams, the flap kept getting stuck. If I put them in the other way round they go through ok but now they print upside down (obviously). Now the prob. In the envelope settings there is a set of options to print and feed the envelopes in differant ways. No matter which feed or print option I select they either print 90 degrees out or upside down. Everything else in Word works perfectly. I know this is a little obscure but anybody have any ideas?

Does your printer have any other paper source options? If you've got a single sheet-feed port on the printer, that might work a lot better. On my printer, I can't feed an envelope from the main tray, but I can feed it through the sheet-feed port.

The envelopes just get put where the paper goes. One way the print is correct (or would be) but the flap catches and causes a jam, the other way it prints upside down. In the options in Word I can change how it prints but it still is upside down, the selection is made and seems ok but the prieview picture doesn't change. If I select 'clockwise rotation' the print in the selected option turns around but it still prints the same way.

Would the flap still jam if you tuck it inside the envelope before running it through the printer? Word's rotation options just confuse the hell out of me, so I always print one to see which way it prints, then orient my envelope in response to that - but the flaps don't stick for me, for some reason.

What model Lexmark is it? :)

It's a Lexmark P4350 all in one. It would be nice if the envelopes would go in the other way round, and tucking the flap in or using differant ones may be the answer but if the word options would work it wouldn't matter which way round they were.
